Field data collection within institutional collaboration
The FindVault application supports professionals working in the field who collect data in cooperation with institutions or institutional projects.
The application is available to individual users only in connection with institutional collaboration. It is not intended for standalone, private data collection: recorded data is always linked to an institution’s operational or collection scope, ensuring professional, legal, and heritage protection compliance.
What does the FindVault application provide?
Field data collection
FindVault enables field professionals to record observed objects and events via mobile devices and supplement observations with photographic documentation. Structured data fields support consistent data entry, while offline functionality ensures uninterrupted work without internet access.
Geospatial support
The application supports precise spatial recording and map-based visualization, allowing collected information to be reviewed in its geographic context. Spatial data enters the system in a structure compatible with institutional processing.
How does it integrate with institutional systems?
Field-recorded data in FindVault does not disappear, but continues its lifecycle within an institutional system.
Recorded information is linked to the relevant institution or institutional project and appears in FindVault in a format suitable for institutional processing. Further processing, registration, or collection management is always conducted according to the institution’s internal regulations and applicable legislation.
This approach supports collaborative field data collection in areas such as cultural heritage protection, nature conservation, and other institutional responsibilities.
Who is individual access recommended for?
Individual access is intended for users who work in the field under institutional assignment or cooperation and record observations digitally.
This includes those who:
- collect field data within an institutional or project framework,
- work under institutional authorization,
- participate in institution-coordinated programs.
Subscription and use
Individual users access the FindVault application through a subscription, always linked to a specific institution or institutional project.
The subscription grants access to daily field use of the application. Institutional administrative, decision-making, and registry processes are not included in individual access. The application cannot be used for standalone data collection without institutional linkage.
How to join?
